Getting started with Staffly
The order that works when you start: users, collective agreements, customers and your first employees — before you plan a single shift.

When you get Staffly, your company details, logo and portal address are already set up by us. What remains is filling the system with your own data — and there is an order that saves the most rework, because each step builds on the one before it.
Note: If something in your company setup needs changing — logo, address, VAT number or the invoice sender — write to us. It is not something you edit yourself.
1. Users
Create your colleagues under System → Admin and give each the permissions they need. This comes first because the rest of the setup goes faster with more people on it. See Users, roles and permissions.
2. Collective agreements
Under Økonomi → Overenskomster you create the salary rates, pension and fritvalg rules your prices rest on. They act as a template when you price orders, and Staffly can show whether an order's prices conform to the chosen agreement.
3. Customers
Create the customers you already work for, with contacts and prices. An order cannot exist without a customer, so this is the next step regardless. See Create a customer and a contact.
4. Employees
Create your employees — both external (the ones you send out to customers) and internal (the ones who work for you). The more you fill in on a profile, the more the system can help you find the right person for a shift later.
5. The first order and the first shift
Now you can create an order for a customer, add shifts and staff them. From there the week runs itself: hours are registered, approved, invoiced and sent to payroll.
