Connect e-conomic or Billy
Connect your accounting system so approved hours become draft invoices — and map rate types to products with and without VAT.
Last updated 8 August 2026
Staffly can send invoices to e-conomic or Billy, so bookkeeping does not have to type them again. Both are set up under System → Integrationer.
Note: You choose one active provider — either e-conomic or Billy, not both at once.
e-conomic: how to connect
You only need one thing: an Agreement Grant Token. Here is how:
- Choose e-conomic under Aktiv udbyder.
- Click Installér Staffly-appen i e-conomic og få dit token.
- Log in to e-conomic and approve the access.
- Copy the token you get at the end into the Agreement Grant Token field.
- Press Test forbindelse, then save the settings.
Staffly never gets your e-conomic password — only that one token, which you can revoke again inside e-conomic yourself.
Billy: how to connect
Billy uses a single Access Token, found under mit.billy.dk → Indstillinger → Adgangstokens.
The token does not expire. If your token has access to several companies you also need to fill in
Organisation ID — otherwise the field can stay empty.
Map rate types to products
Before the first invoice, each rate type must be linked to a product in the accounting system — one with VAT and one without VAT for foreign customers. There are also default products for overtime and recruitment fees, used by the invoicing profiles when nothing else is chosen.
How it runs
- The hours are approved in Staffly.
- You create a draft invoice from them.
- The invoice lands in the accounting system, where you send and post it as always.
See Invoice an order.
Note: The invoice is created as a draft, not as a posted invoice. The final check and sending stay with you.
