Send SMS with GatewayAPI
Turn SMS on so shift offers also reach the employees who do not have the app installed — and keep an eye on what it costs per message.

App notifications only reach people who have the app installed. SMS reaches everyone with a phone number, and that is often the difference between covering tomorrow's shift and not.
Turning it on
SMS is sent through GatewayAPI. You create an account with them and connect it under System → Integrationer. If it is not set up, Staffly says so directly in the shift-offer dialog: SMS kræver en GatewayAPI-konto under Integrationer.
Where SMS is used
The important one is shift offers: when you send an open shift out, you can pick SMS alongside app notification and e-mail.
It costs money
Every message costs at GatewayAPI, which is why SMS is not selected by default. Use it where it makes a difference — urgent shifts and employees without the app — rather than as the standard channel for everything.
Tip: The more employees you get onto the app, the more the SMS spend falls by itself. App notifications cost nothing.
